About the 365 Random Muppets Project

With the help of Muppet Wiki’s random Muppet generator, I will draw a randomly selected Muppet a day, from now until December 31, 2014. That’s 365 Muppets.

Here are my rules.

1)   No take-backs. Once a Muppet is selected, that is the one I must draw.

2)   I will only be drawing Muppets—no Sesame Street or Fraggle Rock characters.

3)   No repeats.

4)   I have the right to pass on characters from comics and ancillary products to focus on canon characters.

5)   Puppets only—no real humans.

6)   The drawings can be as simple or as complicated as I’d like.

  1. These are awesome! Suggestion: Can you put a link to the Muppet Wiki page for each character so we can learn more about them after seeing your drawing?

  2. Would you mind drawing the Extremes from the Jim Henson Hour please. The 4 colors are orange, purple, blue and yellow extremes that are seen through 2 episodes of the show like Outer Space and Oceans.

    • I would love to draw the Extremes, those puppets are crazy, but I can only draw them if they pop up in the Muppet Wiki Random Muppet search.

  3. I love what you are doing. Is the end coming soon or you going to do more next year? Because I ask you if you where going to do Mildred, and you told me some time and what about Sam, Nigel, Hilda, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Link, Bean Bunny, & Santa Reindeers & more & more!

  4. Thanks! Glad you like the work. I’ll be done when the year is up. I hope some of those characters pop up, but I never know what I’m going to get…it’s random after all.

  5. That’s 360 muppets like a 360 rotate angle. Only five left and it’s done. Maybe you can also try doing Sonic the Hedgehog, Planet 51, Escape from Planet Earth, The Looney Tunes Show and Pokemon characters after you’re done with this project.

  6. I guess that’s every 365 random muppets. I wonder if you can try these art plans from these cartoons:

Sonic the Hedgehog, Planet 51, Escape from Planet Earth, The Looney Tunes Show and Pokemon.

Would you like to do these, they would certainly give you some time creating these pictures in that kind of art. Anyway, what brush strokes do you use to make these?

    • How about you do the modified version with the spots because I like the modified one better. Try doing the recycled version of Tug (who is Do Re Mi Monster) like the one you’ve made for Milton in that short show series.
